My friend Zack pointed out that there was great wisdom to the idea of taking a day off from work and worldly activities. Jews, Christians, and Muslims celebrate a day a week. Jews call it Shabbot, Christians call it the sabbath, and Muslims call it Youm Jumu'ah, "Day of Congregation." Buddhists celebrate the full moon day. Hindus don't have a set day or time but they perform ritual devotional practices twice per day and have many holy days throughout the year.
